Senior Transportation Engineer
Daniel (Dan) Gerling serves as a senior transportation engineer. His responsibilities include managing and designing transportation projects, primarily focusing on WisDOT and County highway projects. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Dan has 14 years of experience working in this industry. He spent two summers as a Student Engineer in Training with the WisDOT SW Region. Additionally, he worked at Becher-Hoppe Associates, Inc. where he worked primarily on WisDOT and municipal street design and construction projects. Dan also has experience with storm water management plans and WDNR permitting for site design, storm sewer design, airport runway pavement design, and environmental studies and reports.
Dan’s hometown is Viroqua, WI. He now makes his home in Wausau.
During his spare time, Dan enjoys photography, cycling, hiking, camping, running, cooking, and visiting national parks and traveling with his wife, Emily.
