Mike Bakalars

Mike Bakalars is a Wisconsin Professional Engineer with nearly 28 years of experience in transportation design and project management. Mike holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and WisDOT Transportation Liaison Committee. Mike manages transportation related projects and directs/supervises work being completed by staff assigned to the projects.
A native of La Crosse, Mike and his family now make their home Verona, WI.
Mike spends his free time hanging out with his two kids, wife and dog and attending their school & sporting events. He is on the Board of Directors for the hockey rink and Verona Youth Hockey club in Verona. He also enjoys boating, kayaking, golf, and snow skiing. Mike is an avid Brewer, Badger, & Packer fan and is a Packer season ticket holder.
